i have resisted for years, but today i'm thinking about buying a pair of these babies. (there's no way i'd pay $200 for that kind of hideous, i'm going costco on this one.)
i've hated these boots since 2003, but i've also frozen my buns off every winter. i thought people bought them because they looked cool, but they don't. they're just as hideous today as they were the first day i saw them.
however, i'm tired of acquiring frostbite on my feet and legs, and i only have one other pair of boots. uggly, here i come.

I totally agree. I told myself I would NEVER buy those. They are so gross. But lately I've thought about how warm they look. I want some too. they are like 50 bucks at American Eagle so maybe I'll try Costco. We are the biggest sell-outs oh well.
I still refuse to wear the full-on boot, but I have a pair of slip on shoes that are ugg-like and not quite so uggly. I got mine at Target for like $10 in the slipper aisle, but they've got really solid soles like uggs so I wear them as shoes. Nice and toasty!!
